Hello, Sorry but I don't know french. I just understand a little bit but I don't know how to write in french. Perhaps you can help me. I'm a potential buyer of a SUN 2500 of year 2007. I like very much of this small great boat. I heared that SUN 2500 has some problems of fabric construction of the double rudder and of the mast step system. Can you help me and tell me if you know something true about this? Thanks and best regards.

Hello, I have just received your mail. We have bought a SUN 2500 2007 in september, we have had some difficulty with the double rudders, they were very hard to move ( the rudder was very stiff). We had it looked at by a Jeanneau specialist who has changed the 2 rudder rings & the ring of the rudder stock. These details are explained in the Sun 2500 blog with design and plan. The work was done and taken over by the garanty. The boat is now very easy to steer and a real pleasure to sail.
For the Mast step I don`t know what your problem is ?
We had a problem with our motor ( a Yahnmar ) we had to tighten the engine clips . If you have a problem with the engine alarme it is not dangerous, just clean the plastic pipe which goes to the water pump.
We have also installed a small solar vent in the toilet cabine which gives great satisfaction in all the boat.
