Hi barry
The only way to cure definitely this problem is to change the nbr# 7 rings ( upper & lower)which are too thick and replace them by the new ones supplied thru Jeanneau agent ( see the drawing "safrans et barre (pièces détachéesSUN2500) " on the left side of the front page menu) .
The boat has to be on ground, i should say under belts, you need about 70cm to 1m free under the rudders to move down the rudders and 2 persons to run this operation.
